HP Tablet PC has a FLIPPING camera, Windows 11 compatibility


HP has announced its 11-inch HP Tablet PC that has some unique specs and is Windows 11 compatible. It comes with a detachable keyboard — it is not like any other keyboard. It can be mounted to the screen in both landscape and portrait orientation with the help of magnetic clips on two sides of the display. The HP Tablet PC also does a first for tablets with its camera housing. It sports a 13MP camera that can be flipped to use as per the user’s convenience. HP has also announced a few that will also be compatible with Windows 11 when it is launched.

The HP Tablet PC (yes, that’s the name) will sell at a starting price of $599 (approx. 44,200). It will be made available from HP’s website from December. It will also be available at Best Buy around the same time. There is no confirmation on the availability of HP Tablet PC in India as of now.

HP Tablet PC comes in a single Silver colour option. The HP 11-inch Tablet PC features an 11-inch (2,160×1,440 pixels) IPS touchscreen with 400 nits of maximum brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It packs an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 quad-core processor with Intel UHD graphics. Moreover, you get 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

HP Tablet PC comes equipped with a 13MP camera that can be rotated- to be used as a selfie camera or a webcam. It can be moved either vertically or horizontally and can be flipped 180 degrees to operate as a webcam.

The HP 11-inch Tablet PC can be mounted on its keyboard in both landscape and portrait orientations as it gets two magnetic clips. Therefore, you can use is to leverage Windows 11’s Snap Layouts in both display orientations. The HP tablet also has an optional HP Rechargeable Tilt Pen as a stylus. It runs Windows 11 S mode.

Connectivity options on the new HP tablet include USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5. It comes with a 32.2kWhr battery and a 30W power adaptor. It measures 253x177x8mm without the keyboard and weighs 660 grams.
