No Proof of Homicide or Murder So Far in Sushant case, Says CBI Source

There has been no evidence so far to suggest that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput was a case of murder or homicide, a CBI source. As per the reconstruction of the crime scene and multiple witness statements, there is no strong proof to suggest that this could be a case of murder, according to the CBI source. Although homicide or murder is not a charge in the FIR, the central agency had been probing the case from that angle too. Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty’s father, Indrajit Chakraborty, will once again be interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Rhea Chakraborty’s parents were questioned on Tuesday by the CBI for the first time.

The CBI continued the interrogation of her brother Showik Chakraborty, who was called for questioning for the first time last week, on Tuesday also. Showik Chakraborty was accompanying his parents when the trio reached the DRDO guest house in a car which was escorted by a police vehicle. Rhea Chakraborty and her parents are among those named in the FIR registered by the Patna police for allegedly abetting Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide and misappropriating his money.
