NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme was supposed to launch its new Realme X7 Max 5G smartphone in India today. The company decided to launch the smartphone in India as part of the company’s three year anniversary.
However, Realme decided to postpone the smartphone launch due to the ongoing second Covid-19 wave in India.
Realme X7 Max 5G is said to be the rebranded version of Realme GT Neo and now an image of the phone’s retail box leaked online.
The image of the retail box confirms some of the specs of the smartphone. As per the leaked image, the Realme X7 Max 5G will pack MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The smartphone will come with an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Realme X7 Max 5G will feature a 6.43-inch display with 1080 pixel resolution. The smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP macro camera. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The yet-to-launch smartphone is said to come in three RAM variants — 6GB/8GB and 12GB. The smartphone will house a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.
The smartphone will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The company has now rescheduled the smartphone launch and it will soon reveal the new launch date.
Meanwhile, Realme is expected to enter the laptop segment. The company is expected to launch its first laptop by the end of this year. It is also expected that the company will launch the laptop under Rs 50,000.
