Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that miscreants who resort to stone pelting will get severe punishment. A law is also being enacted in this connection. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that stone pelters are enemies of the society. Stone pelting is not an ordinary crime. It can also kill someone. It creates an atmosphere of fear and terror.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the rule of law will remain in Madhya Pradesh. Stone-pelters will not be spared. For this, we are also bringing a law of severe punishment. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that stone pelting and damage to public property, arson or personal loss or vandalization falls under the category of unforgivable crime. In a democracy there is freedom to say anything peacefully. But incidents like stone pelting will not be tolerated. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that those who harm public property will be punished severely. Along with punishment, such anti-social elements will also have to pay compensation to the victim. The troublemaker will also have to give financial compensation. His property will be confiscated.
